One improvement Blizzard did was the dynamics of the relationship of Jim Raynor and Sarah Kerrigan. In the old Starcraft, the dynamics were just not there until Chris Metzen changed their stories to help the game and later the series (polygon II). The next problem, Starcraft being buggy, happens in every game, but the programmers found many bugs that had to fix in the entire code of the game. It was also very difficult to find find bugs in the code especially double-linked lists. The last problem, pathfinding in Starcraft, was difficult for Blizzard because whenever they patch bugs, there would be more conflicts with the game. It made terrain and tiles to either be passable or impassable (kotaru). The problems of Starcraft would delay the release date of the game and lead the fans and customers to grow anxious and impatient for Starcraft (Polygon II). None of them seemed appealing to me, and I thought about what to do, I had so many ideas of what to do and found the one that best suited me which was to create a video game and have people play it around the world. I knew video games from the back of my mind so to create my very own video game and have people play it would be outstanding. Although it did have a flaw, I had no experience in making video games. I had a general idea of what to do but not enough to get me far.…
