In 1862 the archaeologist found the first document describe polyric state was written by ancient Egyptians about 1550 BC. In the second century AD Arataeus of Cappadocia gave the name diabetes from the Greek word “siphone” which mean passing through. Later, Thomas willis in 1675 discover that urine and blood of diabetic patients is sweet. So, they added the word mellitus (honey sweet).
