Día De Los Muertos or Day of the dead is a traditional holiday that is well known in Mexico and in America. It is a day where people pay their respects to their ancestors and it occurs on November 1 to November 2. People can either be with their family or friends having a good time talking about their ancestors and remembering who they were before they passed away. This traditional holiday started in Mexico and then began to spread around the United States. For the Día De Los Muertos, I went to Boyle Heights to a high school that was hosting the Día De Los Muertos event. The school was called Felicitas and Gonzalo Mendez High School.
