Dewitt Jones: Video Analysis

Dewitt Jones’s video is very inspirational; it makes me want to tap into my creativity more. I really appreciate the way he defines creativity, emphasizing that anyone is able to be creative if they are willing to change their perspective. Similar to his early beliefs, when I was younger, I believed that only talented artists were creative and that creativity was not a trait that everyone could possess, especially not myself. As I have grown older, I have learned that all of us possess creativity, we just have to be willing to go the extra mile in order to access it.
Additionally, many of his claims and ideas are similar to those expressed by successful entrepreneurs. The idea of not fearing mistakes but as seeing them as a part of the process

Productivity A common trait among highly successful people is taking action, so be productive! Being busy doesn’t translate to productivity as we are always engaged in one activity or the other at every point in our lives-it could be sitting, working, breathing, eating, cooking, sleeping, chatting, etc. Rather than focusing on just any action, outcomes matter the most. Every person in this world has an individual creativity built within them. My individual creativity personally took me a while to uncover, I only recently unearthed my true creativity during my junior year. I express my creativity through makeup, poetry, painting, drawing and redecorating my surroundings such as my room which I like to think of as my sanctuary because it’s the only place I can disconnect myself from everything, focus on myself and reflect on my days. Makeup is my main outlet of expression since that’s the one that’s in the spotlight and is a quote on quote paraded for the public eye to see when used correctly and minimally to enhance ones beauty it makes a person look more presentable and put together. I was inspired to write…
