Deviance is any behavior that violates social norms and it usually sufficient severity to warrant disapproval from the majority of society, but it also shaped by the society. Any act or a different type of point of view that is outside the norm can be defined as deviance (page8). There are no universal acts that labeled exactly the same way the meaning of deviance varies in different cultures. As deviance is a prevalent problem in the contemporary society, it is worth talking about. People can be deviant from the norms either by lacking of knowledge or ignorance (page 9).
