Children are provided an environment that stimulates their development through interactive play, the reading corner, imaginative play, a slide, an area where they work on hygiene and potty training, an area to eat and learn feeding skills, and a bright room to see outside. The young boy seemed to be very busy during the day, running from area to area and not being able to focus on activity. The first time working with the child in the center was similar to the second visit. The young boy was focused on many things in the room, he showed some dangerous behaviors by throwing several objects, tried to escape the classroom by opening the outside door and door to the classroom, and did not play very safely with others. The young boy was playing in the space provided. I began to play with him and attempted to keep him engaged in building blocks, but he did not want to participate for no more than two minutes. He had then ran to become consumed in another activity, but he returned once he saw me interact with another child playing with the same blocks. So he ran back over and began to destroy our pyramid of blocks. This was just one interaction with the during the early part of the day. I had then redirected him in order to help understand that behavior is not polite. Although, for a child his age this can be typical behavior, but it can still be redirected in order to help regulate his emotions. Throughout the day I had responded to the child in a calm manner and positive redirecting. After attempts of redirecting he had seem to improve on his behaviors. Our interactions ended after he finishded his lunch, brushed his teeth, and laid down for his
