This is a topic that we have heard a lot about and gone through multiple scenarios of what is and is not appropriate. Nevertheless, I feel that I have a solid understanding of the allowed lengths of copyrighted information and sources. In the online lab, we learned about the resources that can connect us to other teachers. For example, blogs are a resource that can be used by teachers to keep up to date on other classrooms and what activities they are doing day to day. They are also a great outlet to connect parents of students and the teachers of their children. Another resource to find fellow teachers on is Twitter. It is simple to follow another teacher or school district account and see what they have been up to with their students and classroom. As for the Google Drive assignment, we learned how truly simple it is to share a document with other teachers, and to be able to comment on each other 's work without having to edit the actual document. This can be done from any device anywhere, so you do not have to be near someone to share ideas with each other or critic a peer 's work.
In my teaching career, technology will play a huge role. Not so many classrooms are straight out of a textbook like some used to be. Technology is becoming more and more integrated into today 's school systems in all subjects and all grade levels. A technology that I will likely be using in my classroom is Google Drive.
