How To Build Sustainable Energy

"By 2050, one-third of the world 's energy will need to come from solar, wind, and other renewable resources"(Alternate Energy). As time goes by coal, oil, natural gas depletes which will cause economic and social problems.Oil causes harm to the atmosphere by polluting everything around it and to solve this problem scientists are working to build sustainable energy sources such as solar panels. Given unlimited resources researchers could investigate and find an alternative to power the planet without harming the environment or the economy.

Currently the main supply of energy on which vehicles, buildings, televisions and anything that runs on electricity depends on fossil fuels. Nearly all vehicles run on gasoline, if gasoline was to end how

Unlike coal, solar energy is non toxic and creates clean energy without harming the environment. The problem with clean energy sources is that they are more expensive to maintain and create than coal plants. Also the amount of energy that solar, wind, hydropower and geothermal generate is way lower than what a coal-fired plan can generate. "it would take four wind farms or seven solar generators to replace one coal-fired plant generating similar output. Solar generation costs $189,000 to match 1 megawatt per year generated by coal, and wind power is nearly as expensive"(Andy Tully). This ratio proves how much less efficient and more expensive clean sources are than fuel based energy sources. Another factor that decreases the popularity and efficiency of clean energy sources is the fact that not all the time the wind is blowing in high speed or the sun is not exposing enough heat for the solar panels. Such downsides cause investors to invest their money in coal based power plants regardless of how much damage it might cause to the environment. Without enough money or funding scientist cannot break through scientific barriers that limit their capability to

Wind, solar and other renewable energies have been adopted around the world. “Power generated by the wind and sun increased significantly in America last year; but power generated by coal increased more than seven times as much”( Fallows). The amount of energy provided by green technology is still significantly very small compared to energy powered by coal. ”Coal provides 40 percent of the world’s electricity”(Nijhuis). Wind and solar need lot of expanding infrastructure before they can replace coal entirely. Nuclear power is one of the popular choice after renewable energies.…
