The economic opportunities that would result from implementing a foster care organization that connects foster children with the perfect match for a safe home is access to a safe living environment and increased opportunity for families to provide a healthy lifestyle for young children. “Over 400,000 American children are in foster care, approximately 102,000 foster children are up for adoption, and about 1 in every 184 children in the U.S. are in the foster care system” (fosterclub.com). With this, the U.S. is strongly in need of foster families, and through the creation of this organization, the economic opportunity of accessing safe living is achievable. In addition to safe living environments, the development of this organization would also an increased opportunity for families to provide a healthy lifestyle for young children. By this I mean, that families can positively influence children’s developmental stages, learning, education, and so much more.
Social
The beneficiaries are those children who are in need of a safe place to live. As the number of foster care children continues to increase, there is an even greater need for more foster families to provide a safe home for these children. “On September 30, 2014, there were an estimated 415,129 children in foster care.
