The research problem, This study basically is researching the timing of juvenile based crimes by examining the timing of their delinquent behavior. It was a study in which five hundred and thirteen youths were examined that were participating in a after school based programs. The study was focusing on whether grouping these youths together would increase the prevalence of delinquent behavior among the group, and if so in what areas (Gottfredson & Soule, 2004).
The research design, the experimental method was the research design is this particular study; five hundred and thirteen (513) youths were examined that were participating in Maryland’s After-schools Community Grant Program (MASCGP) during the 2000-2001 school year (Gottfredson & Soule, 2004).

Property crimes as well as drug releated matters are not raised during these same after-school hours. According to the study is was able to show that main association of crime with time are more likely than not to occurring during school hours. The study also suggests that crime against persons is more likely during the time when the youths concentrated together more exposed to peers. In addition the greatest exposure to substance abuse would occur on the weekends when their time and events are less structured (Gottfredson & Soule,
