Determine Kennedy Batman As A Hero

Both Bruce Wayne and Jasmine Kennedy derive their heroic aspirations from traumatic childhood experiences. When Bruce was a young child, he witnessed his parents be murdered in cold blood as a result of a failed mugging. This terrible event caused Bruce distance himself from his peers. Bruce became obsessed with ridding Gotham City of evil, and from this stemmed his desire to be a defender of the innocent. Jasmine, too, experienced a traumatic event in her youth, although she has no memory of its occurrence, or any details of her life before it transpired. With no knowledge of her former life, Jasmine, too, was essentially an orphan. Left to live on the streets and encounter firsthand the seedy underbelly of the city in which she lived, what …show more content…
The fact that they prefer to work alone is indicative of their common need assure the safety of others before themselves. Nonetheless, both heroes are willing to form alliances with others if the situation presents itself. Batman has had sidekicks in the past, including several different boys who went by Robin, several different girls who assumed the name Batgirl, and various other teenaged companions. Batman is also involved in the leadership of the Justice League, the ultimate network of superheroes in his universe. However, it is clear that he struggles to accept these roles. He is inclined to simply do everything himself; in fact, this is the very reason the original Robin left Batman to become a founding member of the Teen Titans. Elementa, for her part, has never had a sidekick. She has expressed mild interest in joining a league of fellow superheroes, but on the condition that the league approaches her with an invitation only if the situation is dire and she is genuinely needed. Born into obscene amounts of money, Bruce Wayne relies upon his vast amounts of wealth to create useful inventions to use on and against criminals. Examples of these gadgets include batarangs, the batclaw, the bat-grapple, and the batmobile. It is due solely to the wealth of Bruce’s family that he was able to create his heroic persona. On the other hand, Jasmine grew up in an impoverished foster family. She has been homeless in the past, and she is only barely able to maintain her current residence. Fortunately, she possesses the natural ability to control the four traditional elements: fire, wind, water, and air. If this were not the case, Jasmine would not have the means to be a superhero at all, let alone purchase specialized technology and travel the world to train as Batman

In order to save the "dying" city of Gotham from the criminal underworld, poverty, and corruption within the police department, Bruce returns to the root of all his misery as a changed man; the identity of Batman was established to prevent anyone else from experiencing the pain and suffering he had endured as a child while the normal Bruce Wayne returns to his "throne" at Wayne Enterprises in order to gain the funding needed for new technology such as the bat-mobile and upgrading the suit as well as using his influence to support individuals such as Harvey Dent who had gained the title of the "White Knight" due to being able to achieve justice during the day without a mask. Despite his vigilantly approach towards establishing law and order, Batman is able to maintain his sanity by acknowledging a specific honor code that prevents him from using deadly force or resorting to killing criminals such as the Joker despite his ruthless and unpredictable nature to harm others for his own enjoyment. What makes Batman an ideal hero is his heart and courage because he refuses to be thanked or acknowledged for his role in justice. As a result, Bruce Wayne actually tries to distant himself from the caped crusader by essentially hiding in pain site and acting like the cocky "Billionaire Playboy" who…

Fun Home: A Literary Comparison Fun Home, by Alison Bechdel is formed by her contradictions and paradox between outward appearance and there meaning. The nature of Fun Home is written as a literary piece rather than an autobiography in which Bechdel recounts her life though other works of literature. Bechdel is able to compare her life to other works of writing by using allusions and symbolisms. Rather than describing her book as an autobiography, Bechdel considers her book a piece of literature. She is not insinuating the events in her life to be actual fact for those that were involved, but to her understanding of them.…

It is not because of a masculine trait that makes a person powerful, but rather, it’s because of what they do that makes them powerful. In Nell Brinkley’s ‘‘“Golden Eyes” and her Hero, “Bill”, Over There ' and Charles Moulton’s Wonder Woman comics, both series consistently remind the reader that the protagonists, Golden Eyes and Wonder Woman, are still women underneath everything that they do. They are still beautiful women with feminine characteristics and they are never once mistaken or considered as a man. It is never implied that they are strong because they take on the image of a man, but rather, they are strong because they have chosen to stand up and fight for what is right. These women maintain their identities and, as a result, both…

Christopher Nolan is a director who has won many awards due to his films, even though he has only been a director since 1998. A lot of the time Christopher Nolan uses low lighting, backlighting, jump cuts and a lot of close ups to try to portray messages into his film; especially his use of sound which is used to create suspense in the audience.
