Determination In The Alchemist

There is a quote from the alchemist to Santiago that says, “There is only one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve: the fear of failure.” (page #146). In this world, there are people do not have talents but have determination and face their obstacles to obtain their goals, while there are other who have talent, but do not have determination and hide them because they are not enough confident in themselves. Determination is important if someone wants to achieve a goal, a dream, or a personal legend because without determination nobody will achieve nothing. In the book, I admire the determination of Santiago’s character, because he has will in accomplish his goal, and despite all the difficult moments. He continues his journey
