The body was a female and she was naked. There was dried up blood caked in her blonde hair and it seem like she up a fight because her nails had creases of blood embedded in them. Smith noticed the stab wound on the right side of her breast, the bite marks around her neck area and her body was covered in bruises. Her face was unrecognizable because of how beaten it was. Smith looked around for the murder weapon or anything that would give them some sort of lead on the suspect, but there was nothing.
“Damnit” Smith thought
Detective Smith walked over to Detective Ross who was standing beside a cop, both of them talking to the person who called in the crime. The person was male and looked like a normal college student and he was wearing a tracksuit.
“I was just exiting the college dorm getting ready to do my daily run. When I stubble upon a finger. I honestly thought it was fake because ya know it’s Halloween and we are all setting up decorations. I looked around and saw a hand peeking from out the bushes and I walked over and saw the finger matched the others on the hand. I freaked out and quickly grab my phone to call 9-1-1.” College student said
Detective Smith and Ross took notes on their notepad, listening to the college student intently to what the college student said.
