You may ask yourself who is Destinee Zhane’ Smith? The girl who carries herself in a very passionate way, the girl who people wonder about, the girl who is always around. Well since you are wondering, I’m Destinee Zhane’ Smith known as Compton or Big D. I’m the girl who people always ask about, wondering what is up my sleeve. You may wonder, why do people wonder about me? What makes Destinee so different than other people? Being that I am an open-minded, hilarious, and self-confident person separates me from other individuals.

In other words self-confidence is a feeling of trust in yourself. As a kid I was bullied for my weight and for being very dark skinned while everyone else was light skin or brown skin. I was also talked about on a daily base for having resemblance of a gorilla and having small arms like a t-rex dinosaur. I gained confidence within myself when I figured out that others opinion shouldn’t matter to me. God made me who I am for a reason and no one could change who I am but myself. If I felt that I needed to change I had to change for myself. I gained confidence within myself like a bottle of gain detergent, regaining the color of your clothes.
In the beginning, you wondered who was Destinee Zhane’ Smith? She is a hilarious, open-minded and self-confident person. She had struggles in the past but learned how to overcome them through many obstacles. The obstacles she has went through shaped her to becoming the beautiful person she is to this day.
