Despotism In Ancient Egypt

Remember back when Egypt first started? If not that’s good cause the world may have a problem and a lot of questions. But back to Egypt it was one of the first societies to have despotism. This form of government is ran by one person and that person as complete power, decisions are made easy. What is despotism well it’s a form of government that the the power is handed down to sons. It was founded in the fourteenth century B.C. Some history on it is that it was one of the first forms of government. Despotism strengths is that the ruler rules with force and that one person has full control of everything. So say if someone disrespects the ruler he could have that person executed. Why would this be good because say a certain group of people are planning on overthrowing the ruler and, the leader hears word and he could send a small squadron of soldiers to wipe out the group before they can grow. Not saying that’s all the in all cases. As Julius Caesar did in Roman Republic he was at complete power he used his power to reform the government. Not all leader with complete power are nor will be corrupted.
One other advantage of despotism is that a decision can be made very easy. Say someone commits a crime and they have a court of sorts there will not be a hung jury on whether the person is guilty or not. Having a government that has one person what goes and have no one else to disagree with what the ruler wants speeds up the process. There are two sides fighting against each other like in today's society the liberals that are doing most of the fighting and the conservatives sitting back working. Why this could be good it could be a ruler that cares for his power and does everything in his power to give his follower the life they deserve. But this also could be bad this leader could be a selfish prick and not do anything for his people and do everything in power to screw them over. But no one can predict what a leader will do with or for his people.
Now time for the opposite side of this despotism. Despotism could be also be compared to tyranny for it being so cruel. A ruler can abuse their power and make everyone's life a living hell. If a ruler is to full of himself he very well could destroy his village and his people if he were to take on a stronger army than his. There could be a civil war if that ruler does something stupid and his people could try to overthrow him. He could also do a wrongful judgment and kill an innocent man.
Despotism is not one of the best governments out there but it’s better than some out there. Despotism has three major functions they are absolute power, quick at decision making, ability to control people's lives. Now who wouldn’t want to be a leader and be a part of
