What Are The Five Components Of Health Related Fitness

Juggling your work, social life, and fitness can be a difficult balance to master. It requires discipline, determination, and an understanding of just how important the balance is. I am going to be designing a personal workout tailored to your schedule, personal needs, and health standards. Being a recent college graduate who is in their 20’s this is the best time, if any to start enforcing positive healthy exercise routines. Ideally there are five components to health related fitness, you should be doing: cardiorespiratory endurance, muscular strength, muscular endurance, body composition, and flexibility (Five Components on Health Related Fitness). Part of our fitness program is going to be to try and have our client in some way tick off all five components.

Eating healthy and knowing what is good and bad that’s going into your body can really improve the way that you feel health wise. I would highlight the importance of protein in your diet. It is important to understand that more is not always better but the types of protein you are consuming are important to note, “We need less total protein that you might think. But we could all benefit from getting more protein from better food sources” (Osterweil). Not to mention depending on the age and gender of the client it would vary the recommended protein. The important component to understand is that we all have vastly different bodies with different reactions to nutrients. Since the client is a recent college graduate in their twenties I would recommend trying different healthy diets out in their life and seeing what they feel works best with their own body.
