How To Write A Group Reflection Paper

Improved Essays
In my reflection paper I want to depict the preparation and organization process of my Group project about renewable energy sources and how they can improve our energy production and consumption in an environmental friendly, sound and safe manner. I will describe the various steps it took to plan, research and conduct the group presentation about renewable energy sources, and delineate the different issues our group encountered while working on the presentation about renewable energy sources. Finally, I will describe what I enjoyed the most about the group project and the presentation.
The first step of the presentation our group had to go through, is to decide what kind of topic we wanted to present. So we sat down as a group and did some basic brainstorming, where everyone came up

It took a long time to figure out what we wanted to say about renewable energy sources and what we wanted to present as a group. Because we did not come to a conclusion for a thesis statement, the first time we met after school, we decided to split up the group, and assigned each member of the Group to a different energy source. Each group member then was supposed to research the assigned energy source, at home, and present the research information, to the group the next time we met. After the next English class, we met again and finally came up with a thesis for our Presentation on renewable energy sources. The thesis of our group project was about how renewable energy sources can improve our energy production and consumption in an environmental friendly, sound and safe …show more content…
But nonetheless, our group was able to deliver a satisfying presentation, even though it was a little dry at times, and far from perfect we done our best as a group to execute our

During my sophomore year of high school, in my AP Psychology class, we were assigned an in-depth group research project that would take the whole year to complete. They were to be over either a psychological theory or a social experiment related to psychology. The whole project would entail predictions, pre-research, experiments, and a final APA style psychology research report. When I do projects I prefer to do something no one else has done yet so then it’s something new for the teacher, my classmates, and me.…

Coming up with a topic that all three of us could agree on was supper hard because we all had different projects pictured in our minds. Nathan suggested child abuse but Nicholas and I do not find abuse interesting so that idea goes down the drain. I think about hypothermia/blanket for homeless people. As a month of planning, proposals, and meetings in the trash because the weather was no longer hot so we wanted to change the topic to something people need every single day of their lives. An idea I pushed for was water because you will survive one water longer than food for many reason.…

Group presentations, although sometimes difficult, can be very beneficial to a student in many ways. When there is equal participation among group members they learn to work together towards a goal, trust others to do their allotted portion, and also get to know one another in the process. This last Thursday I felt like my group, Peter Kost, Ariel Wallace, and Emily Chandler, was able to present a well thought out and carefully prepared presentation. Though there were some struggles in the planning process, we were all able to be respectful of each others' thoughts and ideas for the project. I myself went into this assignment willing to not only learn more about the subject we choose, which was migration, but was also open to getting a better…

Throughout the year, as a class we have been given many different challenges in either the form of an essay, speech, or group presentation. The final assignment given to us was a group project presentation. From growing up in an age filled with technology, I have come to love projects that revolve around making some form of a PowerPoint presentation. This PowerPoint though, was both difficult and interesting for the reasons of being assigned group members not of my own choosing, learning to listen to others ideas which can help me to learn something new, and using former knowledge while working together to create a clean, in depth, and well prepared presentation. With working in groups of students whom I have known since I was young but…

You could say we went through the “forming” and “storming” stages of group work that semester. Second semester, after we had an opportunity to analyze each other’s strengths, we were able to work much more efficiently. We evolved into a united group with common goals, and this evolution is reflected in the deliverables we created in 732 to 752. We learned a lot about the questions to ask when designating roles on a project and paying attention to identify these strengths. We also learned about our own strengths in the process.…

This is when I began setting goals to acquire the skills and contribute to the solution of enabling everyone have access to electricity. The first step towards achieving my goals was to get admission in to university. Succeeding in one of the most competitive university entrance exams (Kankor) where approximately 200,000 students participated and only 50 of them, with the highest grades, were admitted to the electrical department of Engineering Faculty-Kabul University was one my major accomplishments. It enhanced my self-esteem and led me to obtain first position in the class, which I later maintained throughout my undergraduate program. Despite other interesting classes, the new curriculum included a course on Renewable Energy (RE).…
