Abstract – There has been an exponential amount of advancements within the field of technology, many of which involve 3-D modeling. Although there have been many advancements within the field, there are still many requirements and topics to consider when designing using this technology. It is always necessary to look over and consider an initial design intent, the proper dimensional tolerance, and analyze the stress of the object intended to make sure it will work as intended.

It has been used mostly in the manufacturing sense of production and engineering. With CAD there are many benefits to production and manufacturing. Some examples would include cost and time efficiency, better precision and control over the product being produced, and easier to really understand and play around with the desired product before actually producing it [2,3]. To this day CAD has been used to improve all types of technology throughout the world, and is always progressing.
II. Process and Methods to CAD -3-D Modeling
There are many aspects and ways to design an item or product within CAD. Although that may be the case, there are some general rules to follow when using this technology.
The quick oversight of how the design process is as followed, the very first step in designing with CAD is to understand the needs around you. From there you can then figure out how to fix the problem which then creates a design for the need. After coming up with multiple different designs they are then analyzed and optimized [4]. If in the process it is recognized that this design then creates more issues, or does not solve the initial issue, the process starts again, otherwise, the design is complete and
