Deshley Rainey: Peer Tutoring

DeAshley Rainey, was a teacher pet, but her thrill of peer tutoring her classmate led to an education and career in teaching. She looked up to her sixth grade math teacher Mrs. Griffin. She attend The University of Mississippi, in Oxford, MS on a minatory scholarship. After earning her bachelor’s degree from the University of Mississippi, which is known by Ole Miss. Ms. Rainey is now a full time teacher in Desoto Co. School District. She is certified to teach General Education, Secondary Social Studies, and Special Education.
Ms. Rainey begins every class session with move to learn to get the students mind stimulating and bodies active. She also open with a review while introducing new materials for the week. Her teaching skill aligns Scaffolding
