Descriptive Writing Wasteland

The darkness seeped in, spreading through my entire body. It weighed my body down as if I was drowning in fear, suffocating, dying.I wanted to struggle and free myself, to crawl towards light but there was none. As far as I could see a hollow blacked canvas was engulfing me. That is when the overwhelming calmness came over me as I prepared to accept my death, and that is when the true horrors of my surroundings showed itself. I urged to my feet to trudge forward into the barren wasteland to explore it. However that is the moment when my alarm went off.

Exactly one minute. The time it took for me to slow my heart rate down from roaring rush it was to the rhythmic pace it should have been. I’m getting good at this, but then again it wasn’t the first time I’ve had this dream. One day I’ll get to have a look around that wasteland, just not while the sun was still shining. The warm glow of the sun made me think that it was confused about why it had to wake up so early too. I sat there thinking of ways to beat my opponent today before I finally decided just to wing it, and headed toward breakfast hall.

THe door creaked as if cats were raking at a chalk board, and I walked into the stone cold gray cafeteria. Military grade slosh was served to everyone, as we are training to defend against the Dark Kingdoms. Within the content of Alia, there was 12 Kingdoms. It had always been this way as when the original king died he gave his land to his 12 knights. There was a civil war between them, as brothers were forced to fight brothers alliances came to be.
