Why Do People Need Survival Shelters

here are many reasons that people make survival shelters, as well as different types of them. The basic types of these are the natural or primitive shelter, temporary, and permanent shelters. These all have reasons for being built and reasons for their need. These shelters are a needed item. Depending on the country or time of year the lack of a strong one could cause illness or even death.

The first is the primitive survival shelters they usually are considered to be made from any materials that are in the area, and can be used to provide a quick shelter. This makes them a popular and easy to carry shelter for whatever the reason might be. It is an excellent idea to set up the tent that will be used prior to having to use. This will assist in set-up time if there is an emergency, and it needs to be set up quickly. Make sure if the tent requires stakes of some kind you have something to pound them into a variety of surfaces.

The second of these temporary shelters is the semi-permanent type. It is larger and more durable than a tent. These are more comfortable and weigh considerably more than the previous type, as well. That same place could be used in an emergency as the shelter itself should the need ever arise. These can range from a storage building and fish house to a tree house. Whatever the reason that is needed for a form of shelter this is one category that covers many different factors.

The last of these types is the permanent shelter. This is a one that is meant to be in one place and not moved as the name implies. This could be a house or apartment or any fixed structure that would qualify as survival shelters. There are times that these become unsafe whether it is weather related or environment related and the need to take shelter else where does happen. It is advantageous to have an alternate form of shelter elsewhere if possible. Permanent shelters have a wide range of possibilities and can be anything from a canvas structure to an apartment building.
