All of the members looked at each other quizzically,wondering why the coach was telling them this. “Many of you, here are thinking about quitting the team and letting all that pressure get off you.”,Coach exclaimed. The team looked nervously and several mutters of “Ya,I did” raised from the crowd.Just as suddenly,as the silence had been broken it had returned. “Everyone this is our chance to take action and win the championship.We can do this,all of you who are quitting from pressure,lack of confidence,or even both.This is what separates who tries and who gives up,come on guys be persistent.”,Coach said. We all looked at each other and suddenly Zack realized that the coach was right and it was so selfish to quit the team.If they tried and worked hard they could possibly beat the Cleveland team. “Now who's with me”,the coach yelled with energy
“Me!”,everyone cheered.
We all put our hands in and screamed,in the rush of excitement Zack saw Coach looking at me winking.They all left knowing that tomorrow and many other practices would be filled with hard work and
