BEEEEEEEEEEEEEP! The 1st wave bell rang and Molly and I trotted down the stairs, ready to walk home together. We always thought that we would be best friends and we were so right. 7 years in September 2012. Yeah, that’s in awhile but still, 6 years!
Now let’s go back in time. It was a hot, September day, September 6th, 2005 to be exact. It was 2 days into kindergarten, and I was very shy .I was really different from how I am now. I longed to play on my favorite swings and slide down the heat infused, spiral slide.Once the gleaming, silver mini van pulled up into the burning parking lot, I saw Molly. I didn’t know her name but she looked kind of familar from school. My mother also felt the same way, so she dragged me over to meet her. I thought it would be horrifying to meet a new friend. But it wasn’t honestly that bad, considering how friendly and awesome Molly was. I didn’t know it then, but I had just met my BFF.

Molly was also with a girl named Olivia, and we also became friends. Sort of. Anyways, we started to hang out on the playground together and it felt good to be with them. I started to talk to her myself then and, right from the start, I knew that she was going to have a lot of friends, and I desperately hoped to be one of them. Luckily, my dreams came true. After we kind of got to know each other, we started to sprint freely around the playground. We swung on swings, slid on slides and even climbed on this little jungle gym ball. It was the best day ever.…
