Personal Narrative: The Perfect Tiny House

I’m a college student. I have a limited budget and don’t want to worry about a dorm. Dorms can be expensive and honestly, who wants to live with someone that may be sloppy or rude. I would much rather scale down my living and save myself some trouble. That brings me to tiny houses. These tiny houses could be perfect for me, after all I don’t need too much room. Selecting the perfect tiny house can be difficult. Some the house absolutely needs to have enough storage. I also don’t want something too small, so the change isn’t to drastic. I want it to have some sort of design, maybe something not too bright or colorful. The most important thing is to stay in my budget. They first showed me a blue house. The blue color was a bit brighter than I would truly like, but I can overlook that for now. It was a 160 square foot house. I chose the first house we visited. This was the blue, 160 square foot house. Although I think the color of the outside was a little too bright, it was nothing I couldn’t look past. When looking over the list of things I wanted in a tiny house, this house fit most of my expectations. It has storage space, and the inside is beautiful. Although the wall of glass in the bathroom is offsetting to me, all I need is some curtains to cover them. Once the sink was added in, I felt more comfortable. The cost was a little out of my price range, but I think when it comes down to the fact that I’m going to be living here, quality tops the price. I only had to tow it once so far. I don’t plan on doing a lot of traveling with it. The cube storage in the stairs that leads up to the loft is perfect for holding my belongings. My bed fits perfectly in the loft, and the rolling island in the kitchen makes life so much simpler for cooking. This house was the best choice I could have
