Descriptive Essay On Tequila Grill

The Tequila Grill Tequila Grill located in downtown Kalona, Iowa is the best mexican restaurant I have eaten at. The restaurant can be found with ease, even if you are not familiar with the area. I would recommend people come all the way from Iowa City to try this restaurant. Positioned on the corner of Main Street the restaurant has a sign sitting in the corner of the yard that can be seen from the road. It is one block away from Highway One that runs through the town of Kalona. Once you arrive at the building there is parking in the front of the building for about ten cars. There is also parking available in the bank parking lot across the street for around 20 cars. From the outside you can see there is seating available outside …show more content…
One of the featured dishes on the menu is called the super burrito. The super burrito is an exceptional dish. It is a foot-long flour tortilla stuffed with chicken, steak, lettuce, tomatoes, guacamole, beans, rice, and cheese drizzled on top. Many other Mexican dishes are available such as enchiladas, tacos, and burritos. Spice can be a problem with many Mexican restaurants. The Tequila Grill has many dishes that are not spicy, but they also have spicy dishes for people who like spice. The chile relleno is one of the dishes I would recommend for people who like spice. It is a chile that is stuffed with cheese and is fried with spicy sauce on top. I would not recommend getting the American food but, they do include things on the menu like cheeseburgers, chicken wings, and pizza. The American food is not the same quality as the Mexican food they serve because, it is not their …show more content…
They serve Pepsi products, lemonade, orange juice, milk, and alcoholic beverages. Drink prices are about the same as at other restaurants. Non-alcoholic beverages are priced at one dollar and seventy five cents, with free refills. The strawberry lemonade is a great drink that I would recommend. Many customers get it and are not disappointed with its sweet taste. Another main attraction to the restaurant is their margaritas. On certain days of the week they have a special where the margaritas are cheaper than normal. The margaritas are reasonably priced and can be a great addition to the food for someone over the age of twenty one. Prices at Tequila Grill are very reasonable. There is an assortment of meals on the lunch menu that only cost six dollars and fifty cents. The supper prices are not much more. Most meals you can get under ten dollars. A combination of meals included on the supper menu range from eight dollars and ten dollars. Appetizers are also inexpensive. Cheese dip, which is a favorite at the restaurant is only three dollars and fifty cents. The amount of food that is piled onto your plate for this inexpensive price leave most people
