My First Date Descriptive Writing

“Starbucks at 7?”
One date can lead to endless possibilities. It can lead to long lasting love, a friendship, heartbreak, or self-realization. Prior to my first date I would hang out with boys I liked with a group of people so it was never truly a one-on-one situation, but once that time came, I changed forever.
I received a notification on Twitter from a boy I did not know. As I could see from his profile picture his physical appearance sparked my attention. He had a very defined jaw line, eyes as blue as the sky on a clear beautiful day, perfectly sculpted hair, and lastly, a little grin that made me so much more curious to what his smile may look like. When he asked me if I would like to go on a date I was very excited. My heart was pounding

I needed a striking outfit perfect for that first impression. I stood up peering in my closet where I saw plenty of options. I picked out my favorite sleek, black, shiny leather jacket with silver embellishments. I then paired that with my tight fitting, black and white, spandex, patterned leggings that showed off the curves of my body. The Outfit gave me a boost of confidence, but it needed a few extra touches. I added a nice mocha brown knitted scarf and black tall leather boots, which kept me warm on this frigid cold January night. I flat ironed my hair, pin drop straight. Then, I applied all my favorite makeup products that left my face with a shimmering glow. Most importantly, I needed to leave him with the scent of my most luxurious perfume. I spritzed my Versace Bright Crystal perfume along the collar bones of my neck, and on my fluffy knitted scarf. The room, and my self, was left with a fresh blend of pomegranate mingled with soothing blossoms of peony, magnolia, and lotus flower. I headed out the door feeling like a movie …show more content…
As soon as I stepped foot into the building I immediately recognized that unforgettable face full of beautiful features. Standing there in a long black dress coat, a red plaid scarf, khakis, and black Polo leather dress shoes. His style immediately impressed me. We hugged, said hello and I soon found comfort when I felt his heart racing as fast as mine. I ordered a caramel macchiato that warmed my almost frozen body, and he had a hot chocolate. Little did I know our drinks were almost as sweet as him. We sat down at a two-person table up in the lounge area and began to talk about how cold it was, and how happy we were that we had the day off due to the below zero temperatures and that we would possibly have the day off school again tomorrow. With that in mind we knew we had plenty of time to get to know each other and talk. He would always look at dead on, as if he was looking at the depths of my eyes, and I would give him that exact eye contact back. The eye contact really connected us, I would find myself often lost in his baby-blue eyes. They were better in person than any picture online. His voice was appealing and assertive, always having a question for me or a story to tell. As time carried on and we kept chatting about our family’s, our lives, and our hobbies, we ended up sharing a few laughs and I finally saw his inviting smile, it gave me insight.

I asked, and not twenty minutes later I had learned all about him; that he, too, lived in Ridgefield, that he worked as a businessman, and much more. After that, I shared with him, and we got to talking for quite a while. An hour turned into two, time feeling meaningless, before we decided to take our conversation over to the nearest coffee house, the strong smell drifting up into our noses, and we stayed there talking until late at night. After that, I scribbled down my number for him to call, and he helped me get a cab home. On the ride to my house, I couldn't help but smile, thinking of James and…

Today I am going to talk, in very abridged form, a little bit about my experience of getting to know the amazing person who goes by the name of Cecilia Bernard, and what I have learned about her over the past three years of knowing her, which was both a fortunate and unfortunate event. Fortunate, obviously, because I got to meet her and see everything great about her. Unfortunate, though, as it took me as long as it did to meet her. What I first learned about her is that she was very open and inviting. I found this out on the way to New Orleans.…
