After a night out my friends and I decided to treat ourselves and eat out. We debated about where to go until we finally agreed on Red Lobster. A restaurant whose slogan is “where we see food differently”. Being an establishment that prides itself on serving fresh seafood and excellent service every guest should expect this when choosing them as their dining option. However, upon entering the Erie Red Lobster, you are welcomed by a cliché atmosphere, compiled with service that lacks hospitality, and food that has poor quality. As soon as we walked through the door we were greeted and put on a wait. The host told us it would only be a short wait “10-15 minutes”. The host walked us back to our table and it was not even set yet. The table looked as if all they did was removed the dirty dishes and set the table top book back up. There were still water rings on the table. A thick layer of butter covered the one end and chunks of food were all over it. The seats were just as bad as the table and I had to use my hand to brush off the seat in order to sit down. The host apologized for there being no silver wear on the table and got us some. She started by welcoming us and taking our drink order. Never once in her approach did she tell us her name or give us any recommendations. After returning to the table with the drinks she handed them out and did not give me mine. She apologized and got my drink right away. Following this she asked “Are there any questions?”, and I asked if there were any promotions or specials. She responded with “no I’m sorry we don’t have specials”. I knew this was not true because Red Lobster always has some kind of special going on. I managed to find where it was on my own with no help from my server, it was Endless Shrimp. I don’t understand why the company puts it on the back of the first page at the very bottom, using small print. It’s almost seems like they don’t want you to find it. After ordering our server told us she would be back shortly with the salads and biscuits, five minutes passed and she returned with our salads. She then told us that there were no biscuits ready at the moment and that she would have them out as soon as they came out of the oven. Time passed and we finished our salads, still no bread. We then saw our server coming with what seemed to be our food. She set the tray down and began to auction off our food as though she didn’t know what we ordered. She got all the plates onto the table and then walked away. She never asked if everything looked okay, said if the bread was still coming, or if we
