David T. Kennedy Park The park of my choice for this essay is named David T Kennedy Park. I have been coming to this park for quite some time now and it is one of my favorite parks to go to. I will be elaborating on a few of my experiences at the park. As well as how people will react when I go around picking up litter. I will also be explaining some of the parks history. I hope you find this essay to be insightful and full of fun facts that might even make you want to visit the park as well. David T. Kennedy park is named after an American Attorney and politician who was mayor of Miami. He served as mayor from 1970-1973 and was one of the greatest politicians in Miami. He died at the age of 80. The park is located at 2400 S. Bayshore Dr., Coconut Grove, 33133. The park has about 29 acres of land. David T. Kennedy Park is big compared to some parks across Miami. Some parks don’t even come close to Kennedy park. The park comes with all sort of things to do. Enough space to plan a nice Sunday picnic with the family or even get some exercise with the free open gym. As I sit here at Kennedy park, I observe a lot of happy people. As a child my parents would bring us here to ride our bikes or just simply play in the playground that is at the end of the park by the marina. To me when I read that I had to write a paper about a park of my choosing it was a no brainer that Kennedy park is the park I wanted to write about. Now as an adult I have a 3-year-old son and David T. Kennedy park is where I choose to take my son. He loves the open space. He loves the park and swings for the kids. He also enjoys walking through the pathway to end up at the bridge the oversees the city of Miami. I want to build great memories at Kennedy park like the ones I had as a kid.
