There are motorcycle taxis available which take you to the beach. Moreover, from Kadamba bus stand of Panaji, buses depart to Panaji very frequently. On the other hand, if you fancy a ferry ride to the place you can avail the ferry services from Mormugao harbor. The nearest airport, Dabolim airport is 29 kms away from the beach. Another airport nearby is the Anjuna airport, 36 kms from the beach. The rail way station that is closest at 15 kms is called Karmali.
Weather and Climate
The closeness to the sea makes the weather of the region humid for most time of the year. During the summer months it can get hot, with May being the hottest month recording 30 degree Celsius. The temperature variation in this area is very mild, therefore, in the winter also, the climate is not cold. January is the coldest month when the temperature is around 25 degree Celsius. The monsoon rains can be experienced from June to September. The weather is most pleasant from October to March/April.
