One day Zoey, mom, dad, and jack went to go on a vacation to the snowy mountains. They had planned this trip for almost 2 years. Zoey was so excited to go on this trip she had her bags packed for 3months. They rented this one beautiful 2 story open kitchen house that was for sale. They loved the house and almost moved in but didn’t want Zoey and Jack to lose their friends. On the way to the airport it took 3 hours to get to their destination. Zoey didn’t realize that this trip would take forever to get up their even though they would only stay up there for one week. Once they got to the airport everyone was so nervous because they have never been on an airplane other than mom she travels a lot. Mom was laughing once the plane started …show more content…
At around 5oclock it stared snowing. No one thought it would have been big until the next day. That next day everyone was starting to get nervous. The snow had been snowing all night and still at 10oclock. Then they had a phone call from the city consul. They said to stay home and cover and close all excites… “the snowstorm will be bad!!”. That night the snow had gotten all the way up to the windows. The next day when Zoey woke up all she could see was mother rushing to the front, back doors and windows. Also, food was running low because they wanted to go out and eat. All they had was leftovers and breakfast foods. The power had run out and, mom was traumatized. The next day mom, dad, Zoey, and Jack had all been sitting next to the fire place to relax from all the confusion happing. She had covered up all the doors with towels and extra sheets. They had found a large stash of food in the basement, but dint know how old it is. Mom was starting to clam down because of her face expressions. That night dad went into the snow to get some wood, but the wind was wild. Dad couldn’t even get two feet out of the …show more content…
The next day they had gotten another phone call from of the city. They were trying to get a hold of them for two days, they said that they would have some people go up to the mountains to bring some food and help them out. The next morning everyone woke up cold and hungry. They wanted all the snow and warring to stop. Zoey wined “I want to go home, this isn’t fun”. Jack agreed with her. Mom looked very disappointed that her family wasn’t having fun, then she thought of something. “what if we have a family competition, and the winner gets to have one more sheet and another meal.” Mom regretted saying more food, but the kid’s eyes lit up when they heard food. Mom and dad spent the rest of the day setting up the games. The night no one expected this, but the phone rang. Everyone was shaking and scared. Mom answered, but it was just the city consul saying to stay in the house because the snow is to cold u could almost freeze to death. Mom answered with “ok”, but no one answered.
