The design of my quilt square is organized yet creative and colorful. All in one 10”x10” square featuring my likes, achievements, creativity, hobbies, etc. My quilt square also has many textures and dimensions incorporated into to making it unique from everyone else's. When creating my quilt square I made sure not to put too much on my square where it would be overwhelming, but not too little were there would be too much blank space. It has simple applications yet a creative aspect that the applications give off. Giving my quilt square what I believe is my personal touch and showing off more of my creative side to me.
One reason I choose the blue turqoise color for my square is, because it is one of my favorite colors. Another reason I choose this amazing color is because it symbolizes energy, creativity, joy, patience, and many other qualities. That remind me of some of my personality traits. Along with things I hope to be better at doing in my life. Like making wiser choices and being more loving to others around me.
Some applications I added to my quilt square was rocks. That are present on the top right corner and bottom left corner of my square. Which has burlap on the back of the rocks to give them a pop. The reason I added the rocks was to represent my hobby of …show more content…
Ever since i’ve watched my mom run marathons like the twin cities marathon and other marathons. I’ve always wanted to see and feel what a marathon was like. On June 17, 2017 I ran Grandma’s Marathon with my mom at the age of 15 the summer going into my sophomore year. I ran a 4:23:53 finishing with my mom at Two Harbors, Duluth Mn. It was such a fun experience and sense of happiness seeing how my body could push its limits and run 26.2 miles. It was even greater running it with my mom she was such a huge part of the experience and was so proud and happy that I got to do my first marathon with
