Rolling through the non-solid solid looking rock, I stumbled and hit my head. Birds were spinning around my head. As the daze cleared I adjusted to the new dim lit room. There was a locked cell but the key was in it and the door was open. On the other side was a spooky path marked with glowing candles. At the end of the path was a large chamber, about the size of a football field. There was a large body of water in this cavern and a ladder on the side opposite the water. I walked closer to the water to see what was inside. My heart jumped out of my chest as a giant tentacle rose out of the water and whipped right past me. I ran faster than road runner towards the ladder, whatever this place was I wanted to get out. Climbing up I found myself right above where I fell into the false rock. I kept backtracking, more carefully this time to try and get back to civilization where I could gather the materials for the king of this strange …show more content…
I shouldn’t drink from that stump again. Hunger strikes my stomach, ugh I think to myself that dream food tasted so good. I don’t know which way is back or forward. I am lost. Walking, just keep on walking. I saw a light in the distance and ran towards it. An old man was fishing on a small lake with a lantern. I walked up to him, his tobacco smothered my nose. He asked how he could help and I asked if he had any food. The old man was kind and gave me two of the fish he had worked so hard to catch. He had a small campfire going already and let me use some of his cookware to fry up the fish. The peppery lemon blast releases a burst of serotonin in my brain. I felt much better. I asked if he knew how to get to a main road and he showed me where to go. I vowed to never go anywhere without a compass again after that
