This ritual is done by most people unless you are self conscious about your feet or don’t care if your shoes get sand inside of them. I made sure too take a look at everyone entering the sandbox, and everyone besides one person deiced to take their shoes off. I believe this person was either white lazy or didn’t care if their sandals had sand all over it, personally I wouldn 't go in with shoes on. What I also noticed was the number of children who weren’t listening to their parents, they were trying to do their own thing, it was quite hilarious. This must be a tradition as well, children don’t listen to their parents. A symbol that I noticed were the “No Soccer” signs on multiple light posts, which clearly meant this sport was not to be played at the park. This really bothered me because I grew up playing the sport at this park. Towards the end of my lovely journey at the park, I noticed a man hugging a tree for some reason, I was clearly startled and questioned what the man was doing. I said to myself, why would you be hugging a tree? Then I thought to myself maybe he’s appreciating mother nature or maybe gaining some type of energy from this tree. The man was hugging that tree for about 15 minutes, he did not move once. I found it very strange but believed the man was doing it for a good enough
