Descriptive Essay: Mccormick & Schmick

Las Vegas is known for gaming, entertainment, bright lights, and elegant dining. Mostly everything is located on the strip, however, I like to venture off the beaten path, and visit places not everyone goes. I visited a McCormick & Schmick’s before in Arlington, Virginia and was overall pleased with the service, and hospitality received there. So when told there was a McCormick & Schmick’s located in Las Vegas, the need to locate and take the love of my life there was a must, especially to compare it to Virginia.
The location was pretty close to the strip. Just on the other side of Koval street, not to far from the MGM. Oddly placed in the middle of a parking lot, sitting all by itself, kind of like it had been forgotten about, was this place of elegance. As the setting

The interior, and overall ambiance was calming, very inviting. As we were seated and given out menu’s, the other guests were enjoying the the evening, as the perfect music played, ever so smoothly. Our waiter introduced himself and took our order, where we began to order our drinks. For appetizers, I had the fried calamari, and my wife had Shrimp kisses. Both were very tender, not over seasoned, and cooked to perfection. The main course was just as well as the appetizer, although the wife thought the stuffed salmon she ordered, had all lump crab meat was a little too much in the stuffing, which took away from the salmon, which was cooked ever so beautifully. Very interested in the key lime pie and the cheesecake, we had to decline, due to the amount of food we received on the main course.
It may have been hidden away from the vegas strip, it was the perfect place for a lovely dinner with my perfect lady. Sure this will most definitely not be my last visit. A great dining experience for all those that venture of the path, just as I and enjoy a meal just as if they were on the
