I always used to believe that the way people look on the outside reflected their soul, but one Saturday proved that to be wrong because that day I learned you never judge a person by their appearance because real beauty comes from within. On Saturday morning I get up, I get ready, I go in the kitchen, which is full of sunlight because the day is a beautiful day and enjoy my delicious chocolate muffin and glass of milk. When I get done I call my friend Amy up because we are supposed to hang out today, Amy tells me she is ready to go when I am, so I go pick her up and we drive about one hour to a forest that people have claimed to see magical creatures. The forest is called Mystical Forest. Amy and I are so excited to be getting to hike in the …show more content…

“Never be fooled by what you see on the outside because on the inside is often a different story.” This unknown author was saying that what you where and how you look can describe a totally different personality than what it looks. This idea can be seen in the book, True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle, by Avi where the theme is Don’t judge a book by its cover. One example of the this theme is in the beginning of the book on page 29 Charlotte thought to herself “From his fine coat, from his tall beaver hat, from his glossy black boots, from his clean, chiseled countenance, from the dignified way he carried himself, I knew at once—without having to be told—that this must be Captain Jaggery. And he—I saw it in a glance—was a gentleman, the kind of man I was used to.…

The funny thing is it didn’t seem to be coming from outside but from above me. I thought I must be insane until I feel a warm breath brushing against my chilly skin. I look up and see a figure hanging by their foot out of the air vent just a few inches above me. I’m about to scream when he covers my mouth with his hand just as he falls and lands on the ground. I don’t see much about the figure in front of me, for his pale skin is cascaded in darkness but I do make out I few features.…
