Descriptive Essay: Hawaii Vacation

Imagine waking up in the morning. You walk up to the kitchen counter and grab some breakfast. As you begin eating you dad brings in a magazine, with the other mail. You flip through the pages usual things gossip, celebrities, and designer clothes. However you keep flipping through the pages and see this beautiful resort with a beautiful view of the sunset setting behind one of the islands. Out of excitement you flip to the next page and immediately start reading the article. It says: Hawaii is a chain of islands far from the USA, off the coast of Mexico. However the islands have beautiful scenery, and amazing resorts. Hawaii is one of the most popular vacation spots because if you chose to take a hike on a volcano, or relax by the ocean, you get a win win situation. I want to go to …show more content…
It has an intense history which people want to know more about and explore the beautiful place that everyone is taking about. Hawaii draws people like a magnet because of things like parasailing, hand gliding, water skiing, snorkeling, hiking, and much much more. I chose to pick Hawaii because it is just an adventure. I mean I don't know about you but wouldn't you rather be relaxing on a beach, parasailing over the ocean, or hiking up a volcano. I would chose any fun adventurous activity that is fun and exiting to do with family. Another reason is food. Even though I'm pretty much almost allergic to everything I still like food. Hawaii offers many food choices like for breakfast Bacon, sausage, coffee, ham, or hotcakes. For lunch the chicken teriyaki, chili, stew, noodles, loco moco, hamburger steak, or chicken katsu. For dinner teriyaki marinated local ahi tuna (fish), and shredded barbecue pork. And especially desserts include baked goods, smoothies, ice cream, and shaved ice.
