My sister and I would fight all the time and we never got along. Every Time we would fight one of us would always go to our room and slam the door shut. February 26, 2016 It was my sister's birthday and we weren't fighting as much. It was evening night and we were sitting on the couch and my sisters boyfriend texted her and told her to come over to get her birthday present. My sister awkwardly walked up the cracked cement steps to her boyfriend's house. She went upstairs to find her boyfriend and when she walked into his room, she saw a little light brown, shorthaired pitbull with brown eyes and a blue collar around his neck laying on the bed. Her face lit up, she excitedly hugged her boyfriend and picked up the dog with delight and

I am mad because the dog sometimes get annoying because the dog is 9 months old and isn't a little puppy anymore. He likes to jump all over you and lick you to death, and sometimes he likes to run away from you when you take him outside to go to the bathroom. I'm happy he is still living with us because I love coming home every single day to him being so happy to see me, him loving on me, cuddling with me when I take naps, watches me do my homework, and plays outside with me. Throwing his slobbery toys across the yard watching him run after them to go catch them, but runs to fast and passes the toy completely. Happiness is something unexplainable and since I am barely finding myself the best way I can define is by happiness being something that satisfies you and puts a smile on your face. My idea of happiness is graduating from college, getting married, and eventually starting a family. Since I am only 17, I still have many years to come before I can achieve that. This semester we read The Catcher in the Rye by J.D Salinger in which Holden made it clear that adulthood can be difficult and confusing.…

Researchers claim that up to half of a person’s happiness comes from their genes. First things first, I have this dog named Bailey, he is a Shih Tzu/ Yorkie/Chihuahua mix, our little man is 14 years couple weeks ago, he would barely eat, yet alone move period. 2 weeks ago, my mother sat me down and basically told me she think’s it’s time to terminate his suffering. About a week ago, my parents and I set off to the vet, to make the suffering subside for my loved one, although for some reason he seemed absolutely energetic, all the while, waiting for the veterinarian, which was a blessing in disguise While my mom was sorrowing, my dad and me held our tears down, while playing…

My mixed emotions were soon forgotten, though, since my sister and I had a blast at the park, and we got along for the first time I could remember. When we returned home, my cousin swooped us into a bear hug, and yelled at us for sneaking out without permission. My sister and I simply smirked at each other. We raced up to my room and burst out laughing. We mimicked our cousin lecturing us, and got along the second time that day.…

I find that the definition of happiness depends on the person and circumstances, and to me happiness is not a mere emotion that I wish to have every single moment in my life. Happiness is a relative term that some people consider an expected result of doing good deeds, and I believe it is a memorable feeling that lies in the joy of achievement and the thrill of effort and always linked to a place in some way.
