“Jingle bells, jingle bells. Jingle all the way!” Shimmering white snowflakes fall on my windshield as “Jingle Bells” blares on my car radio. It’s dark outside, but my house is lit up with Christmas lights. That’s all I see as I’m driving down my long driveway. As I walk through the door of my warm, cozy home, I can smell the hot chocolate on the table. The mini marshmallows swim through the steaming hot lake of chocolate in my Santa Claus mug. Christmas isn’t just a one-day kind of holiday; I can feel the Christmas spirit the whole month of December. It 's like dancing around in a winter wonderland; joy and happiness fills your whole body. A smile never leaves my face. Out of all the amazing holidays, Christmas is my all time favorite mainly …show more content…
For example, having a rough day? The littlest thing such as hearing a jolly Christmas carol playing through a decorated mall could easily boost up any bad mood. Anywhere from the original Christmas carols to Mariah Carey Christmas album will literally send chills down your neck. Another thing that I am a big fan of is watching the “Countdown of the 25 Days till Christmas” on ABC Family. Movies like “Holiday in Handcuffs” and “Snow globe” are my favorite Christmas movies. Most importantly, I think the best things about all these are the older cartoons like, “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” and “Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer.” Nothing like coming home from a long, hard day of school and work, and enjoying a few sugar cookies around your bright Christmas tree watching these shows with your family. It 's the best thing to put you in the Christmas …show more content…
Besides all of the great gift exchanges, being with your family on Christmas is the most important thing to me. Another thing to do every year is watching the Christmas parade. Enormous floats all decked out in red and green driving blocks to put on a nice show for the neighborhood. Although I have grown out of the “Santa Claus” days, due to having a younger brother it has always been important to me to do all that I can to keep him believing! Baking creamy peanut butter cookies and leaving a cold tall glass of milk before he goes to bed just to See his face light up with a huge smile as he runs out his room at 5:00am. If it were not for the little things that my family and I do together, Christmas would not be the same. Christmas time really opens up my eyes and makes me realize just how fortunate I am to have such a loving family because not everyone has

The time of Christmas and holidays should be a time of happiness but things like this should have the appropriate time and place. Melanie Springer Mock, in her article “Separation of Church and State: A war on Christmas and Other Misguided Notions,” recounts her celebrations of the birth of Jesus. Christmas. A time for families to come together and rediscover why you all hate each other. Sometimes you just wish Santa would show up and slaughter us all. I can't be the only one that thinks that, right? Santa's Slay, for the most part, was an alright flick, but it's the opening family dinner scene that really sets the bar high, with plenty of cheese to go all around.…

As a kid I loved to look outside during the holiday seasons watching all the different aspects of life change from summer to fall, and then you’d wake up to the first frost which is always my favorite part of the year cause in more times than not where you have frost, you have snow to follow not long after. During all this change I would write poems and short stories about them and even draw and paint physical images of what I was seeing through my own eyes in hopes that I would get someone to see the beauty of the holidays. Not seeing the commercialized holidays but true reason for the…

Christmas break in my opinion is probably the second best brake that we have throughout our school year. The main thing I like about Christmas break is how long it is. But even though I like how long we are off school it's almost like we don't have a break because basketball takes over. We get a few days off but the rest of the days are hitting the gym early in the mornings for two to three hours a day. The days I have is the best thing in the world because I get to relax and do something fun for once.…
