After School I sit in class and I look at the round black clock that is hang on the grey wall, only few more minutes for class to be done. I start to gather my belongings as I think about food after staying in class for five hours. Finally is time to go home. I grab my belongings and on my way out the classroom door, I tell the professor, ‘See you next week.’ I walk down some few stairs before I head out the main doors. I step outside, and im happy to see how nice the weather is today. The sky is light blue, the wind feels amazing, the sun is out and bright. I tell Angie, ‘We are still in winter, and it feels like is summer.’ She says ‘I know right.’ We cross the small street to go inside the black small

Im glad Angie was willing to take me home or else the bus will be my first option and it will take me longer to arrive home. As she makes a right turn to 59th street, I knew I almost arrive home. Now all I could hope for is their will be parking in front of my dad building since is always filled with vehicles parked between the streets Rockwell and Talman. Living between those two streets can be a chaos because there is small old mexican corner store on the corner of Rockwell, a small barber shop one building down the old mexican store, next to that is another building that looks abandon, but an elderly woman around her 70’s name Mari lives there alone. A few feet away is an huge empty space filled with junk cars, and at the corner of Talman is a grey building that never seems to be people walking in or out from it. Across the street from the old mexican store there is a building called Signs, a small mechanic shop few feet away from it, nest to that is our neighbor house that need to be repaired because part of the house looks like is falling apart. Now there is the pale yellow brick building I live in, with maroon color fence that is place over the bottom two big windows of the building and of course the fence on the main front door before going inside and on the far corner

Back then, I thought this well-roundedness I sought between these necessities would offer me self-satisfaction. Little did I know, however, that I was going to confront this well-rounded nature of mine during my first awards ceremony in middle school.
