As I walked into the school to sign in at the office, there was their mission statement hanging on the door and it said. “The mission of Silver Hill Horace Mann Charter School is to educate,inspire, challenge, and nurture all students (US). After leaving for the day of my visit I wanted to go back the next day because I had so much fun with the kids. What I saw, heard, and learned corresponded with what we learned in class this semester. Some examples of this include, the core curriculum, grouping by math levels, exit tickets, classroom safety, and the effective use of wait time. After this visit, I am absolutely convinced that I was meant to be a teacher. I had a great time interacting with the students and I didn 't want to leave. One child, even came up to me at the end of the day and asked me if I was coming again the next day and when I told him no, his smile turned into a frown. This just melted my heart and I knew this was the perfect job for
