Descriptive Essay About Pictures

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, nothing proves that more than a quickly planned picture of my family. We all have different personalities and nothing can show that better than facial expressions in a picture we all have to take as fast as we can. There`s my two sisters, two brothers, brother-in-law, nephew, niece, best friend, and I, all thrown together for a solid ten seconds to take a picture before we all leave at my mom`s house for a get together. You can almost identify how everyone acts just by looking at the picture, just sitting on a shelf in my mom`s living room. All nine of us together is an extreme rarity, so this picture is one of a kind. It`s a black and white, and the reflection of light on our faces shows how …show more content…
Just so happens that I was mid-sentence pointing out the obviousness of the laughter going on not far from me, wearing my stocking cap as always with my leather jacket zipped all the way up. In front of me is my younger brother, Oliver, who just got yelled at to stay still by both of my sisters. At this point he was smiling just because he was wanting to get the picture over with so he can go play some more basketball. Then is front of Oliver is the cranky yet energy filled youngest, Gunnar, who loves to throw fits about anything he can. So currently he is protesting having to take a picture and wants to get back to basketball and soon as he possibly can, ignoring that taking a nice picture would go much faster. He stands there with an obvious look of disappointment on his face, with his hands thrown down because he didn`t manage to get his way. Behind him is my older sister and her daughter, Brooke and Leah. Leah is enjoying the fact that she can reach Gunnar`s hair, since she loves to cause chaos, but only while in the arms of her mother. Brooke is just trying to make the picture process go faster by smiling and hoping everyone else is too, she had been trying to get Leah to look up at her meme, (which mom declared she be called …show more content…
All of my family together, portraying the attitudes we all normally have. If you were to ask how all of my family acts and seems, I`d pull out this picture and say to try and guess. This is the only picture of us all together and there isn’t a picture that can ever be better of all of us, none can show all of us individually as we are as well as this one does. From our outfits, to our facial expressions, to what we are all doing in the picture, nothing can explain us as a family as great as this. This picture is really great not only because it`s all of us or because of the expressions shown but because none of this was planned out, we took this picture then mom yelled good enough and we all ran. Any other family picture mom would have demanded everyone stay still and we would have all had matching outfits, but not in this. What you see in this picture is what you would see every day as individuals and as a family all

Packet Question #31 If you and a close friend were attracted to each other and neither of you were involved with anyone else, how do you think it would impact your friendship if you decide to become a couple? Explain your answer. If me and a close friend were attracted to each other and were both not involved with anyone else, and decided to become a couple, I think that it would be a little awkward at first, because we would probably make jokes about kissing, or talking about relationship stuff, but eventually it would get better. It would also make our friendship much stronger, because we were already close, and we know what makes each other happy, mad, or sad, and probably know most of what we want in a relationship, because we tell eachother…
