Descriptive Essay About Grandfather

Everybody should have a person like this. That type of person is the kind of person you look up to and wish you could be like. They are a great friend and someone who you can really love with all your heart and trust with your life, they have learned some of life’s biggest lessons from experience, and would do anything for anyone because that’s just the kind of caring and affectionate heart they have. That is how I would describe my grandfather, but in three simple words, loving, wise, kind.
It was a very hot day and I had been playing baseball from early morning to late afternoon. This was a normal spring weekend during baseball season,but this was no ordinary baseball tournament. It was the tournament to decide the best team in the state, and we were in the championship. We were in game two, tied up, and in the last few innings of the game. I was so nervous and anxious I had trouble containing it. Whenever the pressure was set on me I would look over in the bleachers and find my grandfather, he would give me a

“Our boat won’t start and we are way too far away to use the paddles to get back to our house,” the large man driving the boat replied.
“We can tow you back to your house if that is ok with you?” my grandfather asked trying to come up with a solution.
“Thanks, that would be great,” they said as their spirits lifted.
Even though the families house was really far away from where our house was, my grandfather offered to tow them home. This is a quality that I admire and wish I had more of because if everyone was like this the world would be a much better place.
My grandfather is a great example to me and my family due to the characteristics that make my grandfather himself, he never lets you down, uses his wisdom to influence and affect others, and he will go way out of his way to help complete strangers because it is the right thing to do.
