They were the last two left , everyone else stood on the sidelines silently cheering for their team to win, each holding a red ball between their sweaty palms. "I was having a grand old time just laying on the ground, then you had to ruin it." Alex stood there, clearly trying to fight back the smirk that threated to emerge. So she did what any normal teenaged girl would do: she punched his arm.
"Ow!" Alex yelped as he jumped away caressing his arm, mumbling, "crazy bitch," under his breath. She hit him again. "Ow! Do you want a ride home or not?"
She lowered her fist. "Yeah," Marcy sighed, "man I can 't wait till get my own car."
"Until then, your stuck with me," he swung his arm lazily around her shoulders. Marcy pulled a face that caused her pretty face look of one of an ogre. She finally noticed me and dashed over, jumping up and clinging to me. Pushing her off, she landed exactly where what started this whole mess: the floor.
