The sun was shining, it was a perfect sensational setting. It looks like the sun rising over the tree line the beautiful red, orange sun in the coniferous trees. The rocks that are basically the whole island with sharp cliffs sharpened from the water splashed against them. Two feet away from the island, it would by thirty feet, but that be where the fishh would because they love the structure. Usually they are pointing their nose straight at the rocks and were waiting to be caught. We have just arrived at the hole, the little waves are rolling over the rocks. We call it the walleye chop. Then drop our lines diving down through the water like a rock after it was skipped across the lake. When It finally hits the bottom we give it two or three rolls up. Then we turn the locator on It glows with action at all of the fish. My face lights up knowing there is fish down there. Than we drop the trolling motor down give the remote a few clicks. The boat jerked into motion it was going slowly. While we go we give the new pole some jigs. Than reaching for the rain gear It starts to rain hard just like a garden hose turned on full blast. The water actually was going thru the rain gear. That is when the fish were biting. they were the big ones not one under 20 inches, bringing in fish in the boat left and right. Then suddenly there was a nice tapping at the end of the pole. I gave it line than a pull there was no movement that is when I knew that it was a big one at first I thought it was a snake then the head started to shake. I was thinking that it might have been a big pike a couple of yards away from the boat the fish jumped was a walleye I started to get excited taking my time. An half hour past the big fish started to get really close it was right under the boat I told my dad to get the net. He did, we put him in the boat it was a big one I was exhausted from the long fight but it was all worth it. When I brought him to the measurements strap it reads 28.5. The gills were glistening I took the hook out admired the fish threw him back, knowing that he wouldn't make it any longer. Now I am knowing there is big fish down there. I put a minnow on my lure throw it down than wait. It does not take long before there is another tap at the end of my pole. But this time it gets away, dad gets a bite and started reeling it in and he thought it was a snake to but much like mine it starts to move. When he gets it close to the boat i grab the net
