Descriptive Essay About Disney World

Magic. Fun. Beauty. These are usually the words that people associate with Walt Disney World. My parent’s love for Disney World had always been infinite; after all, that is where they went for their honeymoon. Disney for me had always been a magical place where anything was possible. It was a hot summer afternoon in Orlando, Florida, and the sun was blazing, this was the day that my perspective of Disney World was drastically changed in just one day, the day I was “abandoned” at Disney.
The day started off like any other family vacation at Walt Disney World. A sort of magical air blew through the park. The smell of greasy turkey legs and sweet, indulgent caramel apples filled the air with delicious aromas. All of this combined creates the Magic

So I decided to explore the magnificent park and go on some more attractions. I would just walk up to any attraction and get in the line and the overly nice and always smiling employees would let me on the ride. I do not blame them; maybe seeing a small child alone is normal to them. I was having the time of my life, with my heart pumping rapidly with excitement and the adrenaline rushing through my veins. I even went on the Haunted Mansion ride even though I was alone. To this day I do not know how I got so lucky. Now this is where things go sour, I went into one of the Disney shops, and I saw a very cute looking mad hatter plush, it looked very appealing to me; so I just grabbed it and left the store. All of a sudden, a large and grotesque looking security guard stops me. I felt as though my heart stopped inside my chest, and my blood ran cold. He asks me what do I think I’m doing. My eyes go wide and I begin to shake. I remember telling the scary looking security guard that I was taking what was mine. He asks me if I’m alone and I reply that I am alone. He then begins to walk me into a secret door that was hidden behind a fake building wall. As we pass through, the smell of steel and concrete smacks me in the face. I looked around in awe as I see the many different Disney characters and employees walking casually through four long and massive hallways paved with …show more content…
He tells me to stay and of course I disobey as soon as he turns the corner. I run through the halls trying to find a way out and then I finally stumble upon a rebellious looking teen that seemed to be an intern, with a blue polo and a nametag that states, my name is Gary. I stop the teen and ask him which way is the exit. The teen had a hidden ear piercing and when he opened his mouth to speak, I could see that he had a hardly noticeable overbite. To any person this teen would have looked like any other teen but to me, he looked pretty intimidating. As soon as the teen pointed me in the right direction I ran like a bat out of hell, as I did not want to get caught once again by the security guard. The blinding light of the fiery sun soon enough embraces me. Then, I begin to make my way to the Pirates of the Caribbean ride once again with my Mad Hatter plushy in my hand. As I get closer to the attraction I am able to see a tall, lanky clock that is standing next to the ride, and it says that it has been about and hour and a half that I have been gone. I decided that I wanted to ride the ride one more time. As I get off the ride, I notice that my father is now standing in front of it waiting for me. As I approach I’m met with the large framed and chubby stomached form of my father. He then asked me if I

As a child, my parents shaped me into their ideal image of a little girl. The formation of their ideals actually started long before I first opened my eyes in the hospital. My story began back in 1988, when my parents met while working at Walt Disney World as cultural exchange workers from Canada. Their romance is a fairy tale. They had their first date at the Magic Kingdom, they spent all their days off on a Florida beach, and they experienced the technical magic that Disney is so well-known for.…

Have you ever got to enjoy hot and ready breakfast in bed? Well, I have, on the day I got to go to Six Flags which to be exact was February the second, twenty-thirteen. Oh, the smell of apple wood honey bacon with two over-medium eggs with a hash brown intrigued with cheese and onions in the middle is the smell of breakfast at its finest. The morning was also a treat in itself with the view of the marvelous, enchanting sunrise and the bluebonnets that my family and I have planted in our backyard gave the right appearance for the new day. Now, this was a Saturday so there’s no school…

Walt Disney World Versus Universal Studios Orlando Orlando, Florida is the most popular tourist destination for families and teens seeking theme parks. From the time I was a little girl, the most exciting part of the year was when my mom would reveal our summer trip. It was either Universal and Islands of Adventure or Disney World; and both were equally exciting. Out of the multitude of Orlando theme parks, Universal Studios and Walt Disney World are the two most attended. Although they do have some similarities, such as rides and family friendliness, they are both very different.…
