How To Get A Dog

I never thought that I would get a dog! Actually, my favorite type of dogs, a husky! When you get a dog you hope it would be a snuggly nice little dog who would live for you forever. WRONG. I mean not all dogs are mean and would bite every new person they see, but our dog was a nice dog when she was a puppy. But now she isn’t. We thought our dog would be the best thing ever, and she is. Sometimes... But sometimes she can be a pain in the butt.

Ugh dogs am I right? So usually there is a highway/road near the hotel. Well in this case there was a highway. Not a road. A very, busy, highway. Of course she was running towards the busy, lit up highway and was not very far away.
So I was really scared at that moment. First day of getting a dog and she was going to get ran over by a pickup truck. I sprinted as fast as I could and I yelled for her “KYIA COME BACK!! DON’T YOU DARE GO OVER THERE!!!” and she heard my voice and ran towards me. She ran to my lap and licked my face. “Good girl! Now why don’t we-” She tried to run from my lap the opposite way but I picked her up and the WORST part is that as soon as I was walking back she puked on my shoulder! As I walked over to the car my dad said “Brett go inside the hotel, and just wait with your brother.” “C’mon Owen, you can pet her when we get inside!” We walked inside and waited, and my dad came in and we went up to the room.
