Everything around me was so beautiful it did not even feel real. People were loading into a big white cruise ship called, ¨Nunatak¨ from the wooden dock by the emerald green shore. In the distance behind the ship there is a range of mountains layered with white as far as I could see. The water was brackish and glowed a dark blue and teal. The teal water was crystal clear, so clear that small pink jellyfish could be seen at the surface of the water. Standing on top of the wooden bridge looking down into the depths, we could see orange starfish piled up at the bottom of the sandy ocean. …show more content…
Our first sight we saw was, small black and white puffins making squeaking noises from the giant rocks that they rested on. The second sight we saw were two brown sea otters curled up laying on the surface together. The otters had their front paws behind their head, laying straight with their feet on top of one another with their tails in between their legs dragging in the water. The otters laid on the surface relaxing peacefully. The rest of the way to Fox Island we didn't see other animals, but could hear the waves hitting against the ship. They were so rough that the bow of the ship would lift up above the waves. When the bow was lifting up, people were grabbing onto the silver rails that ran along the sides of the ship, while others were looking for a place to sit down because they could not handle the motion. The ship was like a big rocking

The first salient moment occurred during the second day of the trip. We had just spent the entire day walking in the sand and the sun, and I was exhausted and hurting. We were all dragging, and slowing trudging through Nauset Marsh. It was just getting dark and the blood moon was rising over the beach, and the only thing I wanted to do and cared about at that moment in time was getting…

When looking at objects that tell the story of my life, there does not seem to be a lot to choose from. I was an only child of a single parent. That being said the most memorable part would have been moving to Colorado and seeing the mountains for the first time at a young age. The mountains span as far as our eyes could see and could we could see them from a great distance away.…
