Description Of The Getty Museum

I like your description of the Getty Museum visit, and the idea of the continuity of styles and movements through the museum display. Last spring, I took APU class Modernism and Museum in which I learned about the efforts of Alfred Barr that actually developed the concept of the museum display that made transitions and influences of modernistic styles from one to another appear coherent and logical. People who has never seen Cezanne, Seurat, Van Gogh, Matisse and Picasso in a sequential order would have a problem to understand Pollock or Rothko. Great post! Thank you,
