This artifact is a reflection that I created on a lesson plan. I created this in hopes I will be teaching a creative and motivational lesson plan to engage my own students one day in the near future. The title of the lesson plan used in my artifact is Money Mania. The lesson plan was created as a requirement for my Intro to Teaching course I am currently taking in class taught by Dr. Jennifer Holloway for fall of 2015. I used the teaching strategies taught in in the course to develop this lesson plan. This is my first lesson plan I created while being in Intro to …show more content…

All students are different and require different approaches to how they learn. I understand the process and time it takes to create this artifact. I created a motivational climate to encourage students to learn new things. This artifact helps me to be an effective teacher and show professionalism because I will be able to create lesson plans, create a motivational climate, and reach every style of learner. By having an organized lesson plan, I will be able to use time effectively. The next time I create a lesson plan such as this I will spend more time and strive to work harder to reflect on a lesson plan that will be well organize, support self-efficacy, and encourage goal making and achieving. By providing more motivational perspective, student will be more motivated to ask questions and explore new

Lesson planning is a highly important part of teaching. Lesson plans are a teacher’s guide in his or her class room. They outline the learning goals and objectives for a particular lesson or chapter; they may also include the activity the teacher has planned and the supplies they will need to help the students complete that assignment. During my field placement I have yet to see my cooperating teacher plan out her lessons for the week, but it is clear she has a lesson plan.
