My ascribe status would be female, daughter, sister, niece, and cousin. My achieved status is girlfriend, best friend, and student. My master status is probably future high school science teacher. I am a female because that’s the way I was born. I am a daughter because I am female and my parent’s child. I am a sister because against my protest I ended up with an amazing little brother. I’m a niece because my grandparents had other children besides my mom and dad. I am a cousin because my Aunts and Uncles decided they wanted kids of their own. I consider being a future science teacher my master status because it will be my future occupation and therefor a big part of my life.
